  100% success rate with multiple tickets from multiple family members. Veteran friendly. Kind courteous staff. Discounted for being a veteran and for bringing repeat business to their firm. Jonathan McGrady has been very helpful and accommodating. As a disabled veteran, sometimes I have specific considerations that need understanding. Mr. McGrady has not hesitated to step in and champion me in my time of need. The first time we retained Mr McGrady was when my teenage son received a ticket while in a rush to get home to make a call date to his girlfriend who was in Europe. The speeding was excessive and could have caused problems for my son's driving privileges. My wife was having medical issues and needed my son to be able to drive her when I couldn't. Mr. McGrady stepped in and was able to have the ticket changed to defective equipment. Another time my other son didn't see a piece of debris in the road until it was too late, and ran over it, and the car went into a ditch. No one else was involved but a police officer drove by as my son was getting out. The officer wrote a reckless driving, citing failure to maintain control. Mr. McGrady stepped in and took care of everything. Still another time, our town had just changed to new unmarked cars and they were monitoring traffic on the road side in a newly finished construction area. I had my cruise control on and saw the car with the blacked out windows. I was focused on the strange smoky looking car sitting on the opposite shoulder and didn't see the new speed sign. the car turned around and followed me onto the highway before turning on its lights and the officer wrote a ticket. Mr. McGrady succeeded in having the ticket completely dismissed. Mostly recently, the speedometer in my truck started jumping erratically and I was matching speed with other vehicles but was last in the line and became the unlucky winner. Mr. McGrady easily managed to have the ticket changed to defective equipment. Mr McGrady gave a discount because I'm a disabled veteran, but with each traffic ticket, he discounted his fees for returning to his firm. In four ticket with three people, one of them unquestionably our own fault, Mr McGrady has always succeeded in managing a favorable resolution. I highly recommend this firm.

  Dear Joseph McGrady and Staff, With due respect Sir, I would like to thank you and your professional and respectful staff for your representation and counsel with my case of reckless operation in the great state of Virginia. Without knowing your firm, you made me feel comfortable from the start and I am humbled by your sincere guidance and understanding regarding my case. While of course there was no guaranteed outcome, I would accept any verdict because I knew I had the best firm on my side during this trying time.   Mr. Goad works wonders in the court room! I have hired him for traffic tickets, and for other cases. He is the only one I would hire out of Hillsville. Before I hired him for the first time about a year and a half ago, I was advised that there would be a $150 consultation fee that would be waived if I hired him. Once I talked with him and hired him, he did not charge me the consultation fee. I understand that he worked as the Carroll County prosecutor for 20 years, but he is on our side now!
